You can immediately understand where to move the table with the part to achieve alignment with the spindle. A convenient knurling seems to hint what to do with your fingers. The design of the transmission mechanism is not final, it is enough for now. The device uses a standard fit of 8mm. In this way, many indicators can be used. But I have thoughts on how to make it better. For example, two jagged sectors to meet each other. High-precision. Or a belt drive (to minimize the gap). Flexure pivot would also like to add.
