I had the big idea one day to make aluminum Lego blocks as I was learning fixturing. I needed something small that I could make a lot of without breaking the materials budget. It took some dialing in, but I eventually made a few hundred block. My students made a Mayan pyramid since we live only a few hundred miles from the actual Mayan pyramids.
