Project Details

During 2010-12 I worked as a lab tech for the UNMC's Biomechanics Lab primarily testing knee and hip replacement parts. Besides a wide array of laboratory technician duties, maintenance, CAD work, etc. I found myself machining on the job for the first time. The parts we made in our shop were used on simulators and other test equipment. This inspired me to go through two different machine tool programs over the next 8 years and pursuing jobs involving the precision machining process.
