Project Details

When I was going through my Drafting & Design associate degree in the mid 1990's, one of the very last classes I took was an introduction to CNC programming. All the work was done with delrin plastic on a small hobby CNC lathe and mill. I still have the parts and syllabus to this day. A few years in to my career as a mechanical drafter/designer I got to work with a CAM software and CNC programming for CNC turret punches and later other machines. This is where that all began.

In the 1990's MCC's Drafting & Design program offered a CNC class. These days the Precision Machining program at the school is fully CNC developed.

A lot I would do differently on these parts, especially the turned ones, with what I know now. :)
